Big changes, same commitment to service

April 1, 2019

Following his appointment to serve as a Circuit Court judge for the 25th district of Virginia, Paul Dryer has left the firm. In the twenty years that he was in practice at the Firm, Mr. Dryer was devoted to representing his clients with the highest levels of legal skill, courtesy, and professionalism. Although we will sorely miss him, we know that Judge Dryer will serve the residents of Augusta County, Waynesboro, and Staunton with the same level of distinction, intellect, and fairness that he displayed as an attorney.

Following Judge Dryer’s departure for the bench, the Firm has now changed its name to Franklin, Denney, Ward & Strosnider PLC.

The Firm is pleased to announce that Colleen H. Taylor has joined the Firm as an associate attorney. An experience domestic, estate planning, and real estate attorney, Mrs. Taylor joins us from her former firm in Staunton where she had been practicing in the local courts since 2009. A resident of Waynesboro, Mrs. Taylor’s addition will enable FDW&S to continue its commitment to legal excellence and community service.
